Tove Jansson: Who Will Comfort Toffle?

Tove Jansson wrote this book after a scared and shy little boy wrote her a letter and signed it "Toffle". She decided the best way to gain self-confidence is to find someone even more afraid than you are and look after them, and this book  shows Toffle doing just that. With an epic rhyming poem translated by the acclaimed poet Sophie Hannah, and Jansson's bold use of block colour and shapes, this is a classic picture book to be treasured.
