PJ Lynch's romantic image of the Lassie and her Prince from ‘East O' the Sun and West O' the Moon,’ the great Norwegian fairy tale collected by Asbjornsen and Moe and published in their Norske Folkeeventyr in 1844.
PJ Lynch's version of this beloved story was published in 1991 by Walker Books in a translation by Sir George Webbe Dasent, and was short-listed for the Kate Greenaway Medal for illustration.
