Methuen & Co. Ltd, London. 1936 (28th edition)
Binding: Original blue cloth boards with a black-stamped vignette of Christopher Robin on the front cover. Condition - Poor to fair. The inner front hinge is split along the endpaper, cleanly exposing the netting/spine binding underneath. The text block remans attached but the cover structure is fragile at the front.
Exterior: Character worn. The blue cloth shows distinct spotting, water-staining, and general fading across the front cover and back panels. The spine has naturally darkened/browned over time with rubbing to the head and foot. No dust jacket.
Interior: Clean text pages with wonderful vintage black-and-white line illustrations by E.H.Shepard throughout. Free from markings.
