Constance Ripman: Ginger and Snout this book is about, illustrated by Eva Ash

London: Franklyn Ward & Wheeler Ltd, not dated

Edition: First Edition

Binding: Publisher's original blue pictorial paper-covered boards, printed with a central circular illustration of a girl and a pig on the front cover. Green cloth spine. Issued without a dust jacket (or dust jacket missing).

Pagination: unpaginated. Fully illustrated with full-colour and monochrome text illustrations throughout.

Exterior: Cover shows light-to-moderate shelf wear and edge rubbing, particularly noticeable at the corners. The original pictorial paste-down remains clear and bright with minor surface scuffing. Spine tape is intact.

Interior and binding: The inner front hinge is split down the gutter exposing the binding threads and mesh beneath. While the title page and covr remain attached to the core stitching, the binding is fragile and requires careful handling. Pages are bright and in condition.

Provenance/Markings: Someone's name is handwritten on the inside front cover but no other internal markings.
