It was Desmond who first suggested a camping holiday. We were resting on a small hill, while our Western Island ponies, Skylark and Sandpiper, cropped the grass. In the distance behind us, mountains raised their peaks to the summer.

I didn't think my brother was serious. 

We'll take the ponies, Sheila we'll stop by burns, not do much planning. He rambled on, anyway we'll look for adventure
