Rudyard Kipling: Best-Loved Children's Stories, illustrated by Isabelle Brent (Second-Hand)

Originally told to Kipling's own children - particularly his daughter Josephine, this collection of stories represent Kipling's art at its finest point. Generations of readers remember 'the great grey-green, greasy Limpopu' and 'the Cat that walks by himself and all places are alike to him'. This edition of Best-Loved Children's Stories, with an introduction by Neil Philip, adds two extra stories to the original twelve - The Tabu Tale and Ham and the Porcupine. 

Joseph Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936) was a seminal English writer of short stories, novelist, and poet. He is most famous for his poems concerning British soldiers in India and his wonderful children's stories. Many vintage books such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive.
