Creative street photography begins not with the camera, but with the eye — learning to see the world with curiosity and intention. It’s an exercise in observation: a way of noticing the unnoticed, finding beauty in the mundane, and transforming the everyday into something poetic or unexpected.

Developing this visual awareness takes practice. Whether you’re drawn to colour, texture, humour, or storytelling, creative street photography invites you to see with fresh eyes. It’s about discovering your voice as an observer, and using the camera as a tool to express how you uniquely experience the world around you.

This two hour workshop will explore your surroundings with a fun exercise aimed at developing your observation skills. Just bring your phone!
