Boards/Spine: Fair. The red cloth exhibits typical surface grubbiness, handling stains, and edge-wear. The spine is naturally darkened with rubbing to the head and tail, though the gilt lettering and number remain fully legible.

Interior/Markings: Poor. Content text pages are legible with standard age-toning and light finger marks. However, the endpapers have sustained damage: the front free endpaper contains a scarred patch from a removed bookplate and features an added modern cartoon stag sticker. The rear endpaper is heavily torn in the gutter with significant surface paper loss due to old adhesive damage.
